About the Research Program
While the global dental market is rapidly expanding, it is often hampered by scattered case reports and a lack of standardized, large-scale data. The Basal Blitz is designed to bridge this gap by creating the largest, most meticulously documented Corticobasal Strategic Implantology (CSI) dataset in Asia.
We are opening the doors of the “Surgical Crucible” to researchers who want to move beyond reading about the future and start writing it.

A NEW GENERATION OF CLINICAL TITANS
THE SCIENCE AT SCALE
The Basal Blitz provides an unprecedented statistical power that individual clinics cannot match.
- Sample Volume: 500 to 700 placements in a single 10-day window.
- Protocol Uniformity: All cases follow the strict Immediate Functional Loading (IFL) protocol (smiles delivered in 48-72 hours).
- Biological Foundation: Focus on Cortical Engagement, anchoring implants into dense, untouched cortical bone rather than unpredictable alveolar bone.
PROPOSED RESEARCH DOMAINS
We invite MDS and PhD scholars to design and lead prospective studies in the following areas:
Biomechanical Stability
Analyzing force distribution and stress shielding in atrophied jaws using finite element analysis (FEA) based on our CBCT data.
Tissue Integration
Longitudinal tracking of soft tissue response and peri-implant health in smooth-surface BCS and CIH architectures.
The Digital Workflow
Comparative analysis of traditional vs. 3D-printed characterizable fixed prostheses in immediate loading scenarios.
Bone Morphometry
Evaluating cortical bone stability and density changes post-loading over 12, 24, and 36 months.
FORENSIC DOCUMENTATION STANDARDS
Data integrity is the heartbeat of The Basal Blitz. To ensure our findings are suitable for high-impact, PubMed/Scopus-indexed journals, every case is documented with forensic precision:
Radiographic Integrity
Systematic pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative CBCT scans.
4K Cinematic Documentation
High-resolution video and photography capturing every surgical nuance and prosthetic step.
Longitudinal Tracking
Built-in follow-up protocols to provide real-world, long-term evidence.
FOR JOURNALS & EDITORS
The Basal Blitz is built to generate publication-ready evidence. We actively collaborate with editors and peer reviewers to raise the standard of implantology literature.
Pre-formatted Case Reports
Every case follows CONSORT/IMRAD structure, ready for direct submission to indexed journals.
Authorship & Attribution
Researchers retain first-authorship rights on their designated study area, subject to agreed collaboration terms.
Multi-centre Data Access
Editors can request aggregate datasets for independent review and meta-analysis validation.
Review Board Invitation
Leading editors are invited to serve on our Scientific Advisory Board and shape ongoing longitudinal studies.
For Researchers
The Data Frontier Application
Apply for structured access to the Basal Blitz clinical dataset for theses, PhD work, and independent publications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about research collaboration
Cortico Core offers researchers access to clinical data from strategic implantology procedures, including corticobasal and immediate loading outcomes. Our programs generate data suitable for studies on bone-to-implant contact, soft tissue response, prosthetic success rates, and long-term cortical bone stability.
We welcome PhD candidates, MDS students, postdoctoral researchers, and independent scholars working in implantology, oral surgery, or related fields. Researchers should have a defined study protocol and appropriate institutional ethics approval where applicable.
We maintain strict documentation standards for every case: 4K clinical photography and videography for pre-op, intra-op, and post-op stages, CBCT and X-ray imaging, and structured clinical records. All materials are suitable for peer-reviewed publication and regulatory submissions.
Yes. Our research programs are designed to generate data suitable for high-impact, PubMed/Scopus-indexed publications. Researchers retain authorship rights subject to agreed collaboration terms and data-use policies.
Contact us with your research proposal, institutional affiliation, and area of interest. We review proposals on a rolling basis and work with qualified researchers to align study design with available clinical volume and timelines.
Depending on project scope and alignment with our mission, we may offer data access, documentation support, or collaborative arrangements. Specific terms are discussed on a project-by-project basis.
